Celebrating a Vermont Tradition: Free Ski Day at Northeast Slopes!

February 27, 2026

On Saturday, March 7, Peakline Rental & Repair is proud to sponsor a Free Ski Day at Northeast Slopes in East Corinth. The first 100 skiers will ski free!

For generations, Northeast Slopes has been part of what makes a Vermont winter special. With 12 trails across 35+ acres, three lifts including a T-bar, 360 feet of vertical, mountain views, groomers, steeps, glades and even a terrain park, it offers something for everyone. There’s a little tow and gentle slopes for beginners, too — the kind of place where many Vermont kids clicked into skis for the first time.

It’s also the oldest continuously operating rope tow in the country, still running, still volunteer-powered, still deeply rooted in this community.

Our family loves skiing here. We’ve spent some of our first Vermont winter days riding that rope, warming up in the lodge and watching the next generation learn the sport the same way so many Vermonters have before them.

That’s why we’re proud to help more families enjoy it.

On March 7, the first 100 people through the ticket window will ski free, sponsored by Peakline.

We’re a family-owned business building something right here in Central Vermont. Supporting institutions like Northeast Slopes — places that have quietly brought people together for decades — matters to us.

If you’ve skied there before, you know. If you haven’t, this is a perfect day to start.

We’ll see you on the rope!
